Lana was introduced to her first yoga class at the age of 15, but did not know at the time that this practice would become an integrated part of her daily routine. Shortly after that first class, she enrolled in an immersion course to study Yoga....and thus began the journey into the exploration of Yoga & Meditation. Many years and hundreds of yoga classes later, Lana has cultivated her own style of teaching as well as a deep appreciation for yogic philosophy. She strives to constantly evolve her classes to accommodate her students' needs, and infuses her teaching with emphasis on healthy muscle alignment, fluidity, present moment awareness...and a sense of humor. She owes her passion to inspiring teachers, including Shiva Rea, Swami Sivananda, B.K.S. Iyengar, Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, and most importantly, her mom (an innovative yoga teacher).
